Hi teacher, I watched the videos and as you asked I will comment in one of them. I choose the video about the 1950's, since it's a time that makes me curious - America seems so perfect from one point of view, in their perfect cars, perfect home - or how it's portrait to be. On the other hand, on the end of the video, that point of view changing into something more drastic - communism and all that. So it's a video I thought to be interesting.

Greetings, I watched the videos but the one that attracted my attention the most was the one regarding the 50's, which is the decade that I think launched all the decades that followed, in my opinion huge advances in space exploration were vital for the evolution of science and for mankind to open their horizons. Although communism surged in that same decade, I believe it made people see all the bad aspects about it, that's why it is nowadays a "threatened" political system.

The videos obviously shared the nostalgia people feel when they remember the times shown in said video. It also shows how society has developed nowadays and has become so much more advanced in terms of technology and social acceptance, in the early days it was only white people on tv shows while in the present you see more variety. We really enjoyed the videos as it made us see how things were in the past.

Hello Teacher. We have already watched the videos and both of us agree that the one that talks about the 70's is the most interesting. This decade was really amusing and fascinating, even though the others were fun studying as well. After all, all the syllabus studied in class related to the decades from the 50's to the 90's were interesting.
As for the heading of the picture we would suggest :"Evolution through the decades"

Hi teacher, we watched all the videos but the one that caught our attention was the 90's video, because some of it reminded us of our childhood. We also relived some of the cartoons we had forgotten.

About the image, we choose to name it "Engimatic Decades" since they were a time for many changes that will never be forgotten.

Hi teacher, we watched every movie u planned for us to see and the one we enjoyed the most was about 1960's, because we truly believe that the hippies movement was really important for our freedom nowadays because it showed society that not everyone is equal.
Different lifestyles and different choices are also important. we believe hippies are responsible for casual sex and drugs revolution.Hippies are also responsible for creating a non materialistc generation, We enjoying what u did and how much work u had so thank you and good luck for the future

To start, i think that the best caption for that picture is: The unforgetable past, because we can see nowadays in our parents, older brothers or sisters, grandparents that the past days were so much different than today in a better way.
After watching the videos, the one who got most of my attention was the 80's. It was an important decade in many diferent aspect like football, television, musicians, cinema and many other things. The football of this decade was amazing because of maradona and many other players, great musicians appeared like michael jackson, addicting TV shows like MTV and many good movies.

Hello teacher, I watched all the videos and I liked more the one about the 60s. The hippie movement caught my attention because I started to imagine how people used to be in that decade and I also imagined if I lived in that decade,60s, I would be a hippie and it would be fun and awesome!

Those where great decades, I think that we've learned from all those years. My favorite decade is the 60's and 80's with the hippies, the parties, rock n' roll and the civil rights movements, I think that those where great steps in the humanity's evolution.
In the 60's I salut the hippies for showing that this world is not lost, and sharing thoughts of love and peace, that were able to open our minds.

Hello teacher, in my opinion the best caption for the picture would be : Which were the main events of those decades?
The chosen videos show us the most important happenings from 50s to 90s.
We can see that the 50s was the decade of inventions and exploration that gave origin to our evelution later. The hippies movement in the 60s led to freedom and self expression. The 70s and the 80s continued the development of our generation, disco and techno music became popular. The 90s brought about the computer revolution.

Hello teacher,
I watched all the videos but, as I am a young women, the one that got my fullest attention was the one about the 60's, specially that part where I can see my grandmother's generation claiming for their rights, those rights that I have today and seem so natural but they had to fight for.
Seeing that video I realised that I have the same rights as equal as men that surround me thanks to those women that had the courage to stand out and demand equality.

Hi teacher,

Regarding the videos, I found them all to be somewhat lacking in information, specially if we are expected to write a 200 word text on one of the decades. Still, I know you didn't make these, and it didn't hurt to watch them anyway. See you tomorrow.

Hello teacher !!
The video that I found more interesting above all was the one about the 1950s first because it was the only that, for me ,gave some solid information and also because it was the theme that my group was assigned. Thanks for posting the videos and the exercises, I'm sure it will be helpful.

Hello teacher! The video that I liked the most was the one about the 90's. But I need to google a lil bit more because the info in the videos are not enough. Since we only have one evaluation, I need to be totally prepared for tomorrow. See you soon, Isabel 12 '7

Hi teacher!
I liked all the videos you've posted but of course the one I can relate more to is the one about the 90's. It felt both good and nostalgic to remember those things from my childhood...I'm suspicious but I gotta say that the 90's were the best decade ever!
About the caption, I think a suitable one is "The big changes throughout times".
Also, thank you for all the exercises you've posted to help us study for the test!

See you tomorrow,

In this timespan (50-90s), short enough to fit in a single generation in it: we replaced horses with cars, we made sure science and long-distance communication were spread to the whole world, we explored outer space and walked on the Moon, we cultivated nuclear weapons and started the popular culture phenomenon, we made Carl Sagan proud... And here I am looking at pictures of retarded cats on the internet.
